What is a Spiritual Gift? Spiritual gifts are given by the Holy Spirit to a follower of Jesus Christ in order to demonstrate God's love to others. They are Spiritual because they come from the Holy Spirit… They are a gift because they are “grace” based. We do not choose them nor deserve them. Yet God freely gives them. Sometimes these gifts are displayed in very dramatic ways. But most often, they can be seen in the quiet efforts of Christians serving each other and the world.

"All these (Spiritual gifts) are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses." 1 Corinthians 12:11
